How to pick your shade

Start from the change you want, not the color chart. For a believable lift on dark brown eyes, gray and gray-blue blends read as striking but plausible. Green creates the most contrast while staying in nature's palette — the Himalaya and Rain Forest families are the go-to. Browns and honeys brighten rather than change, the subtlest option for office settings. Cooler blue blends like DNA Taylor Blue Gray sit between fashion and natural, strongest against dark hair.

Built for dark eyes

Multi-tone designs carry enough pigment to display true color over a dark iris, while the blended outer ring avoids the hard pasted-on edge that makes cheap lenses look fake. At conversation distance the effect is a natural eye color you were not born with — which is the whole point.
