One Lens, Full Fairycore: the Rainbow Transformation
Mojosee · Aug 11, 2026
Rainbow lenses have a cart problem: they look incredible on the shelf and terrifying at checkout - 'can I actually pull this off?' Here's the honest answer: not as a daily lens, absolutely as a transformation. Watch a bare face and a brown bun become a full green fairy, and decide from evidence.
What the lens does for this look
A multi-color iris breaks the one rule every natural lens obeys, and that's the point: once the eye itself is a rainbow, the candy makeup around it stops looking costume-ish and starts looking coordinated. It's the license the rest of the look needs - remove the lens from the final frame and the yellow-purple shadow suddenly has no anchor.

Meet “The Cake Fairy”
The video calls it 'today's cake is green' and the look is built exactly like dessert: a green curly updo dressed with pink and cream flowers, yellow shadow on the lid against soft purple on the crease, gold-glitter freckles across the cheeks, pink-pearl dots on the forehead, and a cherry-charm necklace on a green babydoll dress. Every element is edible-cute - and the rainbow iris is the sprinkle layer that ties five colors into one dessert instead of a collision.
How to recreate it
- Base: bright and dewy, blush high and pink - doll cheeks
- Lid: yellow shadow packed on the lid, lilac-purple smoked softly above the crease
- Lower line: a fine rainbow shimmer along the lower lashes
- Freckles: gold glitter dotted across nose and cheekbones; three pearl dots on the forehead
- Lips: juicy pink gloss
- Hair: green wig or tinted bun, flowers pinned asymmetrically
- Multiple Rainbow lenses last - the one item that makes all five colors read as one plan
