Evil Purple: the Men's Halloween Look That Isn't Red or Black
Mojosee · Aug 11, 2026
Men's Halloween has exactly two default colors - demon red and void black - and by the third party everyone's wearing them. Evil purple is the third door: rarer, colder, and somehow more unsettling. The whole trick is commitment: the iris, the shadow and the attitude all speak the same violet.
What the lens does for this look
The violet tricolor print is the axis of the look - purple smoked shadow around a purple iris reads as one deliberate design instead of makeup plus a lens. In low light the tricolor layers keep depth where a flat purple would die, and half-lowered lids still show the pattern - which is exactly the energy this look runs on.

Meet “The Evil Purple”
Wet-look black hair, a spiked choker, a dark blazer - the frame is all hardware and shadow, and the color lives entirely in the eye zone: violet smoked shadow blended above and below, faint freckles left visible so the skin stays human, and the tricolor violet iris at the center. The discipline is what makes it evil rather than costume: one color, one zone, everything else black.
How to recreate it
- Base: keep it real - visible freckles and texture ground the look
- Shadow: violet smoked around both eyes, heavier on the outer lower lash line - smudge, don't wing
- No liner edge anywhere; the blur is the mood
- Hair: wet-look product, pushed back messy
- Choker with hardware; open collar, black on black
- Vika Tricolor Violet lenses last - the iris is the only saturated element
