Most Tighnari eye attempts fail in the same quiet way: the cosplayer buys a green lens, the wig and ears are perfect, and the eyes still read as generic anime green. The reason is that his iris is not one colour - the upper half is a warm amber and the lower half is a cool teal, and a single-tone lens throws away the half that makes the character recognisable. This clip takes the two-zone print apart in order: the lens alone in its blister so the dividing line is visible, then the same lens worn on a fair skin tone, then on a deeper one - so you can see which half survives contact with a dark brown iris and which half quietly blends away.

What the lens does for this look

A two-zone lens has one job and one enemy. The job is that both zones stay legible over a dark iris, and here they do not contribute equally: the teal does the heavy lifting, because it is cooler and lighter than the brown underneath and lifts cleanly, while the amber zone sits close to the wearer's own colour and reads more like a warm rim than a separate band. That asymmetry is worth knowing before you buy - on brown eyes the lower teal is the half people will notice, which is the right way round for this character. The enemy is rotation. A split print only matches the reference while the dividing line stays roughly horizontal, and a soft lens does drift a few degrees through a day of blinking.
